	Roy Edgemon, Transitional Pastor    email On Sunday, April 19, 2009, New Beginnings called Roy Edgemon to be its Transitional Pastor. Roy is the former director of the Discipleship and Family Division of LifeWay Christian Resources of the Sourthern Baptist Convention. During his time there, he worked with Beth Moore, Henry Blackaby, and countless other individuals who have significantly impacted discipleship ministry in the church. He has served as transitional pastor for over 25 churches throughout the country and is currently involved in the training process for those who work as transitional pastors. He also served as a missionary in both Okinawa and Tokyo, Japan. Roy and his wife Anna Marie have been married for 55 years and have one daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren.
	Aaron Turner, Minister of Worship    email Aaron joined the staff in 2007, coming from San Diego, CA. He is an avid reader, enjoys spending time with his family, and is currently completing his masters degree in professional counseling. Aaron and his wife Mindi have been married for 18 years and have three children: Caitlin, Kelsey, and Chris.
	Kelly Bates, Minister to Students    email Kelly has served churches in Missouri and Texas and has been in youth ministry for over 15 years. He is married to Gay Anne and has two sons, Jackson and Cameron, and a daughter, Chloe. Kelly enjoys fishing, golf, watching his boys play ball, and all things Kansas Jayhawk basketball.
	Melissa Haney, Minister to Children    email Melissa taught in the public schools before coming on board at New Beginnings. She worked for two years in Kindergarten and 10 years teaching seventh grade at Pine Tree ISD. She and her husband, Keith, have been members of New Beginnings since 1993 and have two young daughters, Hope and Hannah. Melissa's passions are her family and reaching others for Jesus.
	Billie Lake, Minister to Preschoolers    email Billie has served on staff as Minister to Preschoolers for over 20 years. She and her husband, Walter, have been married 45 years and have four children, five grandkids here and two waiting for them in heaven. She loves going, doing and just being with her family, especially her grandkids. She has the privilege of helping care for her aging parents, who will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary this year.
	Mary O'Sullivan, Women's Ministry Leader    email Mary has served in this position for three years. She is currently working on obtaining a Ministry Degree from LeTourneau University. One of her passions is seeing women enjoy Bible study and grow in their walk with the Lord. Family and friends are a huge part of her life. Her college-age daughters, Haley and Ashley, are her greatest pride.
	Allen Buchanek, Staff Evangelist    email    Allen Buchanek Evang. Assoc. Allen has served on staff since 2005. He has preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ since 1962, traveling around the world doing revivals, Bible conferences, retreats, and preaching and singing at numerous churches. He and Sharron have been married for 45 years and have two sons, two daughters, and eight grandchildren. Allen's greatest passion is preaching the truths of God's powerful Word and seeing God's church become strong and healthy.
	Vickie Townsend, Education Ministry Assistant    email Vickie has served on staff for over three years. She is the proud mom of Steven, Nick and Kaycee. She is "Grandma" to Dylan, Chance, and Kila, all born in December prior to Christmas, and counts it "pure joy"! Vickie enjoys reading, the Food Network, and spending time with family and extended family whenever possible.
	Kem Frazier, Executive Ministry Assistant    email Kem has served on staff for almost seven years. She has been married to Bryan for 23 years. Together they have two children, Megan, an SFA nursing student, and Logan, a freshman at White Oak High School. Kem enjoys spending time with Bryan, visiting Megan at school, following Logan around to all of his sporting events, and making new friends.
	Karleen Reeves, Financial Ministry Assistant    email Karleen has served on staff for six years. She has been married to Mike for 26 years and has twins, Amy and Brad. She also has two stepsons, Seth and Chad, and three grandsons, Jessi, Chase and Judd. She enjoys reading Christian fiction, sewing, and vacationing with her husband.
	Misty Sherman, Graphic Designer    email Misty has served on staff for over four years. God recently blessed her with a husband, Wes. They enjoy their two nieces, Emily and Lani, and five nephews, Matthias, Elliot, Cohle, Mason, and Eli. Misty enjoys drawing, sewing, playing piano, singing, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
